I am getting inconsistent results with this setup. Sometimes the job runs fine (About 4 out of 5 times), other times it fails with an Ac...

I am trying to invoke a QS job through the plugin. I am getting an error saying: "Failed to run an iteration of the QualityStage job" I was running this same job successfully until today. I believe all the settings on the plugin are correct. I am using the same settings elsewhere as well. ...

Yes, you can. I believe that if you're a MSDN subscriber you have a disc called SFU (Services For UNIX). Install it and you'll have allmost a perfect UNIX functionality running win32 (The most updated version I think is 3.5). I'm a heavy user of it DataStage that is gzipping / awk filtering etc.. a...

We are running DS server 7.0 on a windows 2003 server. We need to do address standardization using cass/serp with QS. Since we cannot call CASS or SERP from a QS plugin this is what I am doing now. the DS job reads from the source and creates a seq file for the CASS process to use. Once the DS job i...

Hi Kiran,
In DataStage 7.1 Server Edition , there is a new stage named DRS (Dynamic RDMS).

Dynamically Selecting ODBC stage Table
I have situation where a given row of input (from one source table) must be passed onto one of a bunch of target tables. The target table selection depends on the input data. I could do this with multiple Odbc stages and use a constraint in a transformer stage and decide the target. I was wondering ...
