No craig I didnt generate it from the XML. I got it from the vendor. He asked to use it for validation of xml once it is generated.

Craig, I have a .DTD file. Will that help? If yes pls help me to import metadata from it. Meanwhile, I will ask for the xsd file.

I guess NEO wants to restrict access to the job by others. I mean nobody should be able to modify it. If that is the case yeah you can make the job read only. But its painful for you as well cause it will be read only for you as well. My best bet is to export the job at the EOD in to a .dsx file and...

I dont mean to hijack this thread but my question is how to paste a picture in your post. In one of my previous posts, I want to put a picture. I did a print screen and then tried to paste it in the post but I could not do that. Do we have to save it on your disk and do it or what?

Yes provided you have Admin rights. You should be able to do it by logging to DS Administrator. I guess you will net be having Admin rights so talk to your DSAdmin.

yes you can configure. Go to Director.
Job--> ClearLog
Select Auto Purge in the Clear log window. It gives two options.
1)UpTo Previous (Job Runs)
2)Older Than (Days).

Select Option 1 then enter the number of runs you want to keep.

Select 'File Pattern' for the read method in Sequential file stage properties. That functionality is pretty good. Logs will be seperate for each file. It allows wild characters. eg: *filename*.
