Since you are using the driver supplied by IBM (IShive.jar), are you sure the CLASS_NAMES=org.apache.hadoop.hive.jdbc.HiveDriver
and not com.ibm.isf.jdbc.hive.HiveDriver ?

Yes i know. This is a problem with only 1 of our engines on 11.5.0.2. We dont see the -ia option in help.

So we migrated to 11.5.0.2. I still do not see the option for informationanalyzer.

Yes, istool.sh -help for me does not show the -ia option. I will probably upgrade it to 11.5.0.2 and see what happens.
