There's no sorting requirement for Lookup stage links. I would think sorting unnecessarily would slow the job down.

I haven't run into that. It sounds complicated. Perhaps there's an operating system file level permission issue. Have you looked through the SystemOut.log file for clues?

There is a DS Macro named DSProjectName. One place you can access it is from the UserVariables Activity stage in a Sequence job.

I'm not familiar with that one but often times you simply have to open a service request or case with IBM Support to request a given individual patch. They will send you a link to download it.
