You're talking about a pre-datastage parameter selection script/webpage/program/pop-up gui.

Are you on a GRID environment where your execution could get dispatched to different hosts each run? (perhaps the mount is not exposed to one of those hosts)

My bet is on "Batch ID" is the user id that is running the job in production, as opposed to some type of watermark value.

I think the issue is far simpler.

the DSJOB command SHOULD have given you an error if something wasn't right in terms of a bad parm.

well... have you tried the "whoami" command? You could trap that and set an environment variable in your BEFORE JOB subroutine, or an external source stage.

Are you sending a file as an attachment or are you imbedding the data into the email body?
