Supress the warnings thru datastage manager. thats the best way i feel I have a job which tries to update rows on a table. If these rows don't exist on the table, then under some conditions I get warnings and under other conditions I get no warnings. Does anyone know why, or what the rules are for t...

Sainathan Is correct, thats the mistake in transform
You have mapped a col defined as string (char or varchar) to a col defined as date. Check it in the transformer stage.

I observed those parameters all are correct from batch job.
Actually when the batch job is called by crontab automatically at that time that is aborting due to sql connection failure. when we ran manually at that time those are running fine without any warnings like sql link failure

Hi actually we tried with only one key coloumn there is no diff in the perfprmance
we are using hashed file reference lookups only.
In odbc stage we have parameter array size check box in that we gave 1 when we are trying to give more than 10 that will giving an error.

How to improove performance through odbc stage

When we are trying loading a sql server table by using ODBC with two reference lookups( which contains 100 rows and 5 coloumns) that job performance is very low nearly 2 rows per sec.We are using datastage version 7.1 How to improove the performance and is there any otherway to connect to SQL server...

after killing the session you have to check
Check to see if the kill command worked or not
by again ps -ef command
