It was resolved by keeping the copy stage from transformer and the option for the link abort after rows worked excellent and its aborting the job.

thats true we have to give default value to the parameter.Otherwise it wont be compiled.And if we gave default value its not going to work.

bcoz you want pass rest of values in the file except for one column i need to pass the column name.so i dont think it will work.

Is there any way to pass the column name instead of the vlaues comming in I dont need the values i just need the column name to pass.
Ex:
seq file -> tx -> seqfile
i want to pass 1st columnname from seqfile to transformer instead of value.

I know its not a good practise to abort job.
But based on requirment i need to abort job based on a condition in Transformer.Is there any way to do it.I searched in form i didnt get the needed information So any one can help on this ?
