Re: Information Analyzer Roles
Question 2 on same context: We have been using DQEC and Stewardship Center extensively with same architecture as mentioned above. We gave access [not admin] for User 1 on IA Project1 so he can import metadata and build rules. And he should be able to login to DQEC to manage the exceptions by himself...

The issue was with default schema assigned on new IADB DB. It should have been the ID that we configured on IADB Setting but our DBA configured it incorrectly so default tables were created with dbo.<table name> and user defined and advanced table couldn't find this table since it would look under d...

Where to find IA Folder Details in XMETA
Is it possible to find IA folder information in XMETA or IADB? We have segregated/grouped IA rules in different folder in IA, and we are using the XMETA Views for some reporting and would like to have the folder level details also shown in the report, so we know which rule exists in which folder in ...

We do have multiple engine for each IA projects bur wondering if we could have separate IADB also. I did create a separate IADB and configuring it in one of the IA project but I was ...

ODBC Connector disappeared in IMAM
We noticed that the "ODBC connector" just disappeared suddenly in IMAM. All the existing connections through IMAM are broken, and not able to establish any new connections. Only ODBC Connector is gone and I can see everything else. Have anyone experienced such issues before? I pretty much ...

IGC authentication through LDAP failed multiple domains
Hi, We have setup IGC/Service-tier to connect to Windows Active Directory through LDAP. The AD forest has multiple subdomains. A normal user have one unique ID/account across the AD forest (that is, no same user appears in more than one AD subdomain) and authentication into IGC was successful. We ha...
