am getting the error in the sequential stage...as below...

SRC_SEQ,0: Delimiter for field "ASSET" not found; input: {0d}, at offset: 41
.
.

Sequential File...footer record have different format

Hi,

I have a sequential file having footer record differrent format.
in sequential stage getting warning on the last record.
any workaround instead of multiple record type handling trick.

Ray,

Adding environment variable works both from administrator as well as designer. but as far as assigning default value, we can only assign in administrator. In designer it only prompt for parameter name & prompt.

can u share with us, how much time it is taking to load 20mio records into oracle from seq file & what tuning u have done to optimize the performance

After looking at the process id using cleanup resources. and after killing the pid using kill -9 <pid>, it does not work, it still says job is being accessed by another user. Once in issue the command "list_readu | grep RU | grep -v :" the process is still there

Command Line Job Unlock Option

One of the most wanted option is to provide "dsjob -unlock jobname" kind of option. ofcourse with some restriction that only owner or dsadm or root can unlock the job.

Thanks, so CRC32 will return checksum value on record level...and based on that I need to decide, if the record needs to be inserted, deleted, modified...if you have implemented...example please, thanks

Thanks, I have a seq. file with record lenth of 800KB & it is having around 12m records. I want to load this file parallely. Currently i am doing a split on unix and loading the files in parallely. is there a better way using PX to load the file in parallel without doing split on unix.
