DataStage return you the first row that it found. I don't think you can process more than one row by lookup....

In the Administrator, check the option 'Enable Administration in Director'.
In your Director you have access to the option 'Job/Cleanup Ressources'. You can kill the process here.
Other in the admisnistrator, Command List.readu
Recover your process number and kill it under Unix.

In the appendix E, you have an example for the parametrization. You create your parameter A with the field Type = Attribute. In the intermediate, you create a parameter and in the field Criteria = [ A ] . After that, good luck for understanding the creation of a new query (worst if you would create ...

If you do not have MetaStage ...
You also can use Version Control (Keep the historical information for each job) if you put the good commentary if not, you are obliged to open your two jobs for comparison.

Kevin, Thank you for this suggestion, I approve it. I think it is because I am new on MetaStage that I always want to create a "Query". But If I choose : - Metabroker -- DataStage - Classe ------- hash file stage In the Attribute's list I do not have the option 'filename' (if I choose clas...

Parameter of my query for finding the filename of a HashFile

I have a query where I wish to find all the Job which use the same HashFile. I select the intermediate with Common Class = 'Server hash file stage (Hidden)' . When I try to parameter it, I have the option Stage Name, Directory , .... but no Filename. I cannot use the Stage name because everybody do ...

Why do you not use the Option Upsert ( = Update or Insert). If you have the same description of your two flows, you can do an Upsert. DataStage checks for you if the row already exist or not.
Like that, you are nothing to put in your constraint and you have one file.

Sure that if you use the option Schedule, you do not have flexibility. Also, You can program in Basic a program into DataStage which do what you want.
You can also use an external tools for developing your schedule and when you have to execute a Job DataStage, you use the command DSJOB.

In fact, after lot of discussion and month, my project with MetaStage is accepted (first step : prototype). Normally, we had changed versions this week end with DataStage but it is deferred. Kevin,

What are the new queries in MetaStage7 ? This question because we need to develop a few queries but we cannot upgrade DataStage now. So I would like to know if some new queries are in MetaStage 7.

Thank you,
