Is this still working in DataStage 11.3?

I could see a zero kB file getting created. and i am able to create the same file as csv using sequential file stage.

When i write to excel sheet using Unstructured Data Stage , i am getting below error.


Unstructured_Data_3,0: com.ascential.e2.common.CC_Exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.IOException: Permission denied

Can you please help

I have a file which is csv and comma separated. I have extra comma in one of my columns. I dont have quotes in my file. If I read via Sequential File Stage, it is getting considered as another column. Is there any way to handle this

I need the ports used by the client(Windows OS) to connect DataStage Server & Services which is in Unix. Please help

Hi Amar, Try this. Write the data to a Dataset. Then use a unix script. In that script, call orchadmin commands and save Columns A and B in different arrays. Create a for loop like structure, call records in one loop and then create another loop to print the records to file based on B column's value...

Convert Wont work for this scenario. Convert will convert only for one character. Not string

I am doing this in a parallel job using a transformer. EReplace function is not there. Can you please tell me what are the functions used to achieve this
