Environment for Information Analyzer and QuailtyStage
Dear experts I am now in the stage to define the hardware (environments - development, QA1, QA2 and Performance Test and Production) as well to determine if we need to have separate LPAR for each software or not to procure hardware and software from IBM. The software are Information Analyzer (IA), Q...

Thank for your suggestion. I think maybe there are some different between the physical location of hashed file. For the 2nd question, with the scenario (10M input file with 50 fields with 1M hashed lookup file (with 2 keys and total 5 fields in hashed). If I am running on 8 ways IBM p670 with 12GB r...

Lookup from hashed file created with Use Account Name
Hi EXperts, I have 2 questions:- 1. I would like to obtain rationale why looking from hashed created use Use Account Name is much faster than use Directory Path option. 2. I have 8 CPUs on AIX, I don't want to use Link Partition because the data must be processed in sequential order as physically so...

How to capture errors while running Oracle BulkLoad
Hi,
How can I know that there are error while populating data using ORAOCIBL stage.
Normally, when there is warning in a job, the status in Director will be shown as 'Finished (see log)' but in this case it is just 'Finish'. So that I will not know that there is error.
Thank you.

Thank you for information sharing. Intel and UNIX, my opinion is they have different architecture, but I am still wondering about one 3200Mhz or four of 800Mhz. There is no black and white because one fast CPU may have overhead of OS to manipulate but four medium CPUs may have overhead of ...

Hi, :D I have sunfire server with 2CPUs and 2GB rams. There is no other application or software running but DS version 6. I got 2 questions to ask:- 1. We divide job control into 4 streams running parallel, CPU seems to be utilized ok, almost 100% used but memory is not. It seems that CPU is used on...
