Hi,

I have had the similar situation and as far as i know, nulls on both sides will be treated as same and won't see that as a edit record.

May be internally it will assign some value to null and compare that value #thought.

Ray, you mean- we should go with Custom job with metadata defined instead of a generic one?

Hi, I have a situation- Loading data from file(Fixed width) -->Tfm--> Oracle. There is a field with 600kb record size. In oracle it is defined as CLOB. Hey Arving thank you very much for the suggestion, but i went through the document long back itself, couldn't understand a bit.
