Hi George,
We also came across the same issue in our STAGE environment today. Have you got any resolution from the PMR.
Cheers!

I understood that the limit was 99. It now appears that 99 is too many. Does it work with 98? Currently it is having around 144 ODBC connections. We tried removing the two new connections we added today still it gives the same error. It is very strange that no one has reported this issue before. We...

Too many (99) Data Source specifications in config file
Hi Experts,
When creating ODBC DSN's on our dev environment we came across this error.
Too many (99) Data Source specifications in configuration file
Is there any limit for the maximum number of ODBC connections in DataStage?
Is it possible to by pass this?
Cheers!

Re: rsh issued, no response received
Hi,
Can you please issue the below commands and share your output along with the configuration file contents that you are using.
From server1
a. ssh dsusername@server2
b. ping server2
Also let me know the uid/gid of the dsuser in both the machines.
Cheers!

Re: Performance degradation on Red Hat from Solaris
Hi Mav,
Can you please check with your network folks whether you are having a network band width issue on the Solaris Box. Whats the VMWare network connection bandwidth? Can you do a continuous ping from your DS client to the Linux box and see whether there are any issues?
Cheers!

If it is Unix, please check the root partition, tmp partition and DS installation partitions are not full. We had a similar issue sometimes back as the XMETA repository filled...
