HI DataStage Users, What is the impact of giving full permissions (777) on Project folder, We have a odd requirement: On a Production box, only one project needs to be given RW access on the project XXX. So I was thinking if I give 777 permissions to that project, what is the impact? Will that work ...

thisissue got resolved after changing to configuration file config.apt

no need to start the engine, just starting the resmonapp will bring up the resmonapp processes,

just FYI...it has to be started from DSODB.bin directory with admin user.

is there a resolution for this issue?

Please chek on the permissions on and inner files of RT_STATUS**

The inner files on this RT_STATUS** did not have 775 permissions as the folders are owned by other user ID

I got the same issue and though I change the permissions of DSSAPConnections folder am am still getting the same issue, I guess for you changing permissions is not alone solved(chmod g+w, g+s )your issue
