Surrogate Key Generation Issue
Hi,
We are using a transformer stage operating in sequential mode to generate the surrogate key. Using next surrogate key function. The values generated have different ranges
like
1,
300000,
2,
3000001
and so on..what could be the issue?

Hi I have Datastage 7.5 and 8.1 installed on my laptop(win xp). They both work fine in my office network. Promoting Fatal Errors to Warnings
Hi,
I have a return code of 2(warning) from a sqlldr call in datastage.
I would like to promote this error to a warning so that the job doesn't abort. I tried using the message handler,but it doesnt seem to work.
Any help is appreciated.

It's clearly not ignoring your load options as your errors allowed is being set to what you specify. This setting is more likely to tell the loader how many records it should allow through before falling over. Have you got a reject link out of the Oracle stage?
