Thanks Ray. But it seems On Demand Strategies have either closed their office or in the process of doing that. I called the phone number they listed on their site but it says 'This number has either been disconnected or not in use anymore' !!! No reply from editor@dsxchange.com even after many emails.

CoSort for 8.1 Parallel Job
Hi, I searched for CoSort and found many earlier posts in here. But I am not able to figure out how I can use it in my parallel job running on 8.1. I have a ksh on AIX which can run the CoSort but the problem is I am not able to trigger that ksh from my DS Sequencer. Everytime the log says 'SH: sort...

Unable to delete a job
There are 2 jobs which I want to delete from the repository but I am unable to do so. I believe that something didn't go well while these jobs were created. When trying to delete them it says Unable to 'Delete the item(s). Delete object for job_name failed'. As one of the scheduled maintenance activ...

Is there anyone who responds to registration issues?
It is unfortunate an awesome forum like DSX doesn't have any responsible website administrator. As a result of which I am not able to create my own account and now I am using my friend's to write this post. 1. FTP Fileset
Hi,
I am exploring the idea of FTPing a fileset from a UNIX server to another thru a shell script. Is it possible? If yes then does it require any special instructions unlike sequential files? If anyone has a sample Unix script for this activity and can share then it will be great.

Timestamp - 1
Hi,
Can I use some function to get previous timestamp?
e.g: - Input: - 2008-08-26 00:00:00
Output: - 2008-08-25 00:00:00
