Thanks a lot for the very clear and crisp answer.
A term can move from pending approval to draft i.e rejected with comments. This is a great feature which business would most likely want to use.

Starting with Erwin 8 , CA has come up with a dedicated bridge to import models directly from erwin to IBM infosphere. There are 3 bridges provided by CA one for importing to Datastage and another one to IBM metadata workbench. I do not remember the third one.

coalesce takes the first notnull out of the input set of values. I think he is asking that sort of straighforward function in datastage ?

Job running slow

Hi all

Using partitions in datastage against a noparallel table in Oracle makes the job to run slowly.

Should we not use datastage partitions against a 'noparallel oracle table' ?

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

StringToDate(stgAcctDate, '%19yy%mm%dd') else SetNull()

An invalid xml cannot be defined 'explicitly'.
It can be a
1.0KB file
2.incomplete xml file
3.xml file with inapproriate start or end tags
..

Hence its better to continue the sequencer on 'abort' and have some other db check (number of records loaded) to stop the job further.
