We are planning for version 7.5 and going to implement the checkpoints in the sequencers.
In order to know pros and cons of scheduling options of version 7.5 over version 5.2.x, we came up with the situation described above.
Is the above situation possible in version 7.0 onwards ??

Thanks

I want to create dependency among different application sequencers ,how do I do that ? I do not want to create a sequencer for this dependency.
Is there no extra feature for this in version 7 ?

thanks

When I import stored procedure metadata using import--table definations--stored procedure option from Manager, the columns are left blank in the metadata; only input parameter name comes in the parameter tab.

You can do that using the sequencer. Call the job activity stage for your job first and give trigger 'otherwise' and then call the send email activity stage. I think this should work.

A sequencer can do what a job batch can do. i.e it can sequence jobs serially like the job batch. Also a sequencer can do much more than a batch viz. parallel job running ,running before and after routines etc. Then why is job batch provided. It is only to create sequence of jobs from director ? Can...
