Audit Stage

Guys,

Does audit stage still exists as a product? I've looked on the IBM website and it appears to have disappeared from there offering. Has it been absorbed into one of there other products, such as quality stage?

Thanks for your replies.

Starting a job on the arrival of a record in an Oracle table

Guys, I need to extract some records from a source system. I need to do this once the invoice run has completed. The way that I can identify the invoice run has completed is when a record gets written into the audit log on the database. The way that I'm considering do is to create a batch that runs ...

DataStage V8 Bug Ridden

Guys,

I'm after your experiance with DataStage v8. A large Indian outsourcing company, responsible for the infrastructure and support for a client of ours is refusing to move to DataStage version 8 as it has too many bugs. Does this match your experiance of version 8?

Thanks

No, I'm looking for confirmation of my thoughts that as long as the right ODBC driver is in place, version 6 will be able to connect to SQL 2005. Not being able to try it myself means that I'm theorising so if someone has done it already it proves the theory.

No, I've not been able to try it. I need the information as part of a matrix that we are putting together for a client to justify there upgrade to v8.

They are moving to sql 2005 but have not yet got implemented.

Talking to SQL Server 2005 with DataStage Server 6.0

Guys,

Is it possible to connect to SQL Server 2005 via datastage 6.0 server. I would image that I would be okay even if through ODBC.

Thanks

Thanks
