Go into the DataStage Administrator, and increase the inactivity timeout, so you wait longer. You can also set it to not to timeout.
For the changes to go into effect, you will need to restart the DataStage engine

What are the advantages using DataStage Job Sequence?
Hi,
I would like to know some thought on following
1. What are the advantages using DataStage Job Sequence? Rather using 3rd party scheduling tool like ControlM.
2. How to get the restart ability in the Job Sequence if any job fails in the flow?
Thanks,
Sohail.

Which, of course, you've previously imported into your reposi...

I have question about loading more than 100 pipe delimited text files with different record formats into our Data Warehouse Landing area, each file will be loaded to a single oracle table. So, my question is what is the best way to load these files. I know one way 1 job per file which will have the ...

We also faced the same issue when we try to generate surrogate keys using the Oracle Sequences. We did it two different ways, in the Server job we use OracleSeq.NextVal to get the next key, which works fine as Server execute each SQL in the database whereas the PX doesn't, it brings the same value e...

Thanks Ray, I wanted to have second thought before making any decision to use Basic transformer in PX, initially it seems very attractive to use this as it has many built-in transformation routines which are not available in PX transformer yet. But now if there is some overhead involve with it then ...
