Hey guys. Do you have any experience with this new release? The thing Im wondering about, is wether its backwards compatible with the 8.0.1(124) version? Can i make maps in 8.2, and run them in 8.0.1(124) I do understand XML wont be backwards compatible, since its now native, but regular maps, would...

Dont use any adapters, just need the files to run the *.mmc
And since its to be run at the customer site, there is no need to install the program.

Well we have what do you call it, enterprice licensing. So we can use whereever we want. But when installing a server, we want to minimise the amount of files, and only use the files required to run the maps.

"Run-Time" files.

Hi.
Do anyone know what files that are needed only to execute the maps?
We have a server, which needs to run some maps. but i only want the files required to run the map. Datastage is on another machine.

I saw that launcher was 8.2, so I guess that Design Studio also is 8.2 now?

Compatability with mercator

Hi.
I have quite a few old maps and a server that needs to use mercator.
Is there no way of backward export the mtt to mercator?

DTX has no problems importing the other way. Is there a workaround?
I get message Disk read error when i try to open the file, you know the drill..

Hi. Well, I did a workaround, with a submap, and changed the datetime to text.. =left((text(addhours(todatetime(DateTime,"{CCYYMMDDHH24MM}"), 1))),4)+ "-" + mid((text(addhours(todatetime(DateTime,"{CCYYMMDDHH24MM}"), 1))),5,2)+ "-" + mid((text(addhours(todatet...

Yes, the input doesnt have a timezone, but the output field needs to have it. the date field is from when the document was created.
But as you can see on the output, its supposed to have only one Z, not
