I'm use DataStage Client 8.5 on Windows 7 Enterprise. And I use toad. I know ctrl + enter combination is very useful on toad. But if Datastage is open this combination is not working. Datastage is closed and ctrl + enter is working.
Why do it? do you have any idea

I think you can use, user defined sql in source stage.

All job goes to sequencer stage. And sequencer stage goes Notification activity stage.

Please check owner thats folder

/opt/IBM/db2
/opt/IBM/InformationServer/Repos

Repos folder have xmeta db2 files. if change to owner repos folder your db2 acces to xmeta .

You can use Notification Activity and can use job status and job name ( click to ... and see external paramater). But i thinl you cant attached job log.
