Hi guys,

We encountered problem when comparing integer to decimal in stage variable. Job has to compare two columns for example colA, which is integer and colB, which is decimal. Surprisingly datastage treats values 11 and 11.32 as equal. Isn't it a bug ? How to work around this problem?

Column names does not contains special characters. We will report issue to support

It happens for all tables and it fails in both situations when statement is given explicitly and when DS generates statement. Is there chance that character conversions has something to do with this issue?

Important thing: Don't forget to change credentials in IADB jdbc in WebSphere Application Server. Without that Information Analyzer will not be able to connect to analysis database

Problem solved. Db2 creates OS users and using OS authentication so the password needs to be changed in OS in our case in Linux using command passwd iauser. Of course you have to be log in as root user.

That is right, we don't know current password. But we have access to db2inst user and root
