Handling delmiters coming with quote in sequential file

Hi,

I have an issue in reading the file which comes with

A"|"B"|"C

"|"as delimter it has the quote on it, long time on files so need ur help on handling it.

Tried using ""|"" did not work.

As ray said no enough info,is your i/p is comma delimited file with four columns?

Ray,
I found it comes as like this in 8.5

StageNames "Seq|Seq_1|Aggregator_2"
StageTypeIDs "PxSequentialFile|PxSequentialFile|PxAggregator"

Getting the stage type in DSX

Is there any way we can get the stage type in dsx.for ex in a simple job if we design a simple seq file--->xfrm---datset.will i get any info on the dsx that i used seq file stage,transform and datatset.Not the stage name,i may give seq for dataset but i need the type of the stage as dataset.i am see...

Consider few things while use SCD stage. 1. SCD stage will give two out puts. 1 is to update the DIM table and the next out put is to FACT table Or other DIM table. 2. SCD stage issue with updates

I have used SCD stage as mentioned in this postand i have included the surrogate key also in that, in the surrogate key tab i made it as from DB sequence.it is inserting properly but it is not updating rather it just adds one more new record am i missing some thing.

I have been through this before and checked with the space as it was alright, the option i went in to delete the Dataset through commands and recreate them it went through fine.

I think the problem is with your Dataset,it got corrupted so Please use the Orchestrate command to delete the dataset and recreate them by running the same job.
