Hi ArndW, It sounds like your problem is easily reproduceable, define a table with just one NChar (are you sure you didn't mean NVarChar?) column and read it into Datastage, then write it to a sequential file. Is that correct? I'm sure it's Nchar and not NVarChar ! The NVarChar are written correctly...

Environment : DataSage Server 7.5 DB SQLserver both on Windows I've a simple job that reads from an ODBC stage (data on SQLserver) and also write, using a transformer, to ODBC (data on SQLserver).
